Antique Boat Insurance What Is The Best Way To Sell An Antique Sail Boat That Is In Need Of Restoration And Repair Work?

What is the best way to sell an antique sail boat that is in need of restoration and repair work? - antique boat insurance

Recently, I inherited this boat - 1937, 35 meters, with candles and a restored engine. Unfortunately, the engine is restored. The rest of the boat is the need of structural work to ensure that their dignity back to sea. There was once (and maybe again) to be a beautiful ship. I give no knowledge of sailing, so I want someone to be the future owner, the care and attention they need. I'm sure there will be an ideal investment for someone who is willing to do (or fund) repairs. Once completed the work, probably for a considerable sum of money because of his age. Buy many items on eBay, but still I do not think the best place for this type of transaction.

Purchase a copy of WoodenBoat magazine - Place an ad there. Check acbs.org - the Antique and Classic Boat Society. Post an ad on Craigslist.org. Many options - eBay is a profile, but intend to ad extra long - 10 days or longer run would be my recommendation. Be realistic about the reserve or the beginning of the auction. It is likely that the purchase of boats, a fraction of the money is spent to make it seaworthy again.
